Safety Pin, Anyone-Part 2

Beaded Safety Pin Bracelet

Beaded Safety Pin Bracelet

Apparently, I’m on a safety pin roll (stay tuned, I have a few more up my sleeve).  This time around, I made a bracelet.  It was fairly easy to construct. The one time consuming step was beading the safety pins.  I used 89 safety pins for this bracelet.  The amount needed may vary based on wrist size.

Once all the safety pins were beaded, I tied 2 pieces of fishing wire onto a jump ring.  I chose fishing wire because of its durability (I don’t want it popping!).  I then strung the safety pins onto the wires.  I tied the remaining wires on another jump ring and attached the lobster claw closure.  I’m really pleased with the way this came out and want to make more in different color combos.
